This year, millions of participants across 115 countries came together in a powerful wave of goodness and action. From individuals and families to schools, nonprofits, and businesses, people everywhere united to make a real impact through community service and compassion.

Thousands of inspiring projects took place around the world – supporting the environment, caring for the elderly, improving health and well-being, protecting animals, strengthening education, and empowering youth.

And across all this amazing activity, three powerful themes stood out: Education & Leadership, Environmental Action, and Health & Well-Being, showcasing the true heart of this global movement in action after two decades of growing impact.

India

In New Delhi, India, VolFest by Humans of Volunteering brought together a vibrant celebration of service and community spirit. Doing good took many forms – some arrived alone and quietly found themselves drawn into meaningful causes, others came with friends and turned shared moments into shared purpose, while families across generations made kindness something to experience together. Even strangers left as new connections were formed along the way. With 8,124 citizens, 51 non-profits, and 35 performers, VolFest became a powerful reminder that doing good doesn’t require a perfect plan—just presence, openness, and heart.

Uganda

Celebrating the Good Deeds Day national event in Uganda, members of the community, together with Raising Teenagers-Uganda and many more organizations, are #DoingGood every day, empowering young girls and leading the fight to #EndChildMarriage.  Through action, dedication, and heart, they truly walk the talk—making the world a better place, one meaningful step at a time.

Ukraine

Good Deeds Day in Ukraine, together with the Rivne Volunteer Community gathered in a women’s geriatric facility for a deeply moving Good Deeds Day encounter – one that touched the hearts of both residents and volunteers.  Through simple yet meaningful gestures—warm conversations, songs, poems, and shared treats like tea, fruit, and sweets – a light was brought into the space. Every smile and every “thank you” reflected the power of even the smallest acts of care. As women shared their stories, long unheard, it became clear: volunteering is not only about helping—it’s about being present, offering connection where it is needed most.

Panama

Día de las Buenas Acciones Panamá brought to life one of those unforgettable moments that truly stay with you. During festivities organized by JUPA, the day was filled with laughter, crafts, performances, jokes, and traditional dances that created a joyful and heartfelt atmosphere. More than just an event, it was a meaningful opportunity to appreciate and honor those who work every day to keep Panama clean and cared for—reminding everyone, through shared smiles and connection, why Good Deeds Day matters so much.

Liberia

Good Deeds Day Liberia brought communities together in a powerful celebration of unity and impact, highlighted by the Dixville Township Tournament, an inter-community football and kickball event that inspired teamwork, connection, and healthy competition among youth.  Alongside the games, food, and clothing were distributed to those in need, while uplifting entertainment brought joy and energy to the day. With strong community participation and spirit, the celebration was a true reflection of how coming together for good can create a lasting impact.

Good Deeds Day Liberia

Miami, USA

Greater Miami Jewish Federation kicked off in Miami with an inspiring show of community spirit, as businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison joined 800 volunteers in Miami. Volunteers of all ages took part in 14 impactful projects across the county – from stocking food banks and packing over 3,000 meals to assembling care kits for people with disabilities, supporting teens’ mental health, and assisting hundreds of migrant families. A powerful reminder of how collective action can uplift entire communities.

Togo

Good Deeds Day Togo Network marked the day with a powerful double celebration, as they honored 20 years of the global movement alongside 10 years of commitment by SAVEUR SANTE SERVICES to rural communities. Under the 2026 theme, “Bio-inputs for healthy and sustainable production,” real impact took shape through hands-on training of 29 producers in creating bioprotective solutions and biofertilizers—reducing costs, improving farmers’ livelihoods, and promoting 100% environmentally friendly practices. With ongoing monitoring already planned, this initiative reflects a lasting commitment to sustainable change and a healthier future for communities.

GOOD DEEDS DAY Togo Network

Portugal

Good Deeds Day in Poland, led by the amazing volunteers from Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu w Kielcach, was a day full of kindness, care, and community spirit. From handing out seedlings with eco-brochures, balloons, and sweets, to organizing memory therapy workshops and visiting the Single Mothers Home—every moment brought warmth and connection.

Volunteers trained 42 people in first aid, made dozens of handmade cards for children in the Psychiatry Department, and delivered “52 Bags of Kindness” from students and staff—all proving that doing good can mean safety, empathy, and working together.

Jamaica

Good Deeds Day Jamaica celebrations came to life at Linton Park Primary and Infant School through the inspiring work of J & R Helping Hands Corporation and their “Sowing Seeds of Success” initiative, proving that they’re growing far more than just a garden. With donated seeds and gardening tools in hand, students jumped into action, planting today while nurturing a brighter tomorrow. This hands-on effort is cultivating responsibility, hope, and opportunity – one seed, one act of good at a time.

Cambodia

Good Deeds Day Cambodia brought together a powerful environmental action together with the Ministry of Environment of Central Province, in collaboration with local authorities and the River Sam Sam Clean Organization, at the riverside park in Takmao City.  With hundreds of participants, the initiative focused on raising awareness and encouraging citizens to protect natural resources, biodiversity, and clean water sources while promoting a culture of care and mutual support for people, animals, and nature. The day also featured a large-scale clean-up along the Bassac River, where volunteers collected plastic and waste—turning awareness into meaningful action for a cleaner, healthier environment.

Honduras

For Good Deeds Day in Haiti, ACTIVEH-Action Toward Initiatives and Volunteering for Education in Haiti and their partner ICMS – Initiative Communautaire pour une Mobilisation Sanitaire brought healthcare directly to the people who need it most. With the help of 20 dedicated volunteers, they organized a mobile clinic near Hinche, providing essential medical care to over 100 people in an underserved community.

This meaningful effort highlights the power of compassion and community service, and the importance of ensuring access to healthcare for all.

Buenas Acciones Honduras

Philippines

Good Deeds Day in the Philippines came to life through Hands On Manila’s inspiring “Library for All” initiative, where stories sparked imagination and brought the joy of reading closer to young learners. With the support of dedicated volunteers, children explored Filipino stories, strengthened their reading skills, and discovered the power of learning through interactive activities. The impact extended far beyond the day itself, as each child took home books to continue their journey. This meaningful effort reached 6 public schools and 2 NGO partners, with 500 donated books from 4 publishing houses and 111 volunteers making it all possible—showing how collective action can open doors to a lifelong love of reading.

Morrocco

In Agadir, Morocco, Good Deeds Day Morocco marked the 20th anniversary of Good Deeds Day, with a vibrant fresco activity bringing together students from Abdelrahim Bouabid Primary School in a creative celebration of climate action and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. Through art and collaboration, young participants expressed their vision for a more sustainable future – turning awareness into color, creativity, and hope for the planet.

Good Deeds Day Taiwan marked the 20th anniversary of this global movement with a powerful and inspiring celebration in 2026, opening with a moving string orchestra performance and a symbolic globe-touch ceremony representing the lasting power of compassion. Through vibrant live music and indigenous dance, the event shared a simple but powerful message: even a smile or a small act of kindness can spark meaningful change. Together, these gestures reflect the potential to ease conflict, reduce hardship, and bring hope in times of uncertainty—showing how collective action can truly make the world a better place.

Montenegro

In Montenegro, ADP ZID led Good Deeds Day with an inspiring celebration of youth, creativity, and community spirit. Students and professors from @usmb_vasapavic delivered a beautiful performance that enriched the event and highlighted the spirit of Good Deeds Day. Their energy, talent, and dedication brought joy to all and powerfully demonstrated how important it is to support young people and their development through art.
