The Sustainable Development Goals

and why we are so committed to them.

At Good Deeds Day, we are proud to be committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals: 17 goals set in 2015 by the United Nations to be achieved in the by 2030 in order to make our world better – end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. We recognize that actions are necessary to advance the Global Goals, and agree that the chosen goals will improve our society and our planet if achieved.

We encourage Good Deeds Day participants to adopt one or multiple of the SDGs and work towards it in their Good Deeds Day project and year-round efforts. We are offer a variety of ideas for Good Deeds Day projects on our Get Ideas page. As part of our commitment to the Sustainable Development goals, each of the suggested ideas is designed to benefit at least one of the SDGs.
