MAIN ISSUES - 第五部分 国家的主要议题与可持续发展目标重点
We align our volunteer work with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We drive our development through international engagement, team building and sharing of best practices, and deliver results via advocacy, networking and leadership development.
We uphold the value of a community with a shared future for mankind living in harmony with nature, and take Our Common Agenda, the report by the UN Secretary-General, as our guideline. We hope to connect young people across the world, implement the youth-first development strategy, and jointly build a sustainable future in economic, social and environmental aspects.
FEATURED PROJECT
Good Deeds Day China: Volunteer Initiatives for Advancing Sustainable Development
In China, the spirit of Good Deeds Day is integrated with the traditional Chinese classic Four Lessons from a Humble Man. It presents diverse ways to perform good deeds, distinguishes between genuine and false, great and trivial, biased and upright acts of kindness, and elaborates on the principles and practical methods of doing good. The initiative encourages people to keep practicing good deeds and accumulate virtue continuously.
Leveraging the opportunity of the 2026 International Year of Volunteers designated by the United Nations, we have launched a toolkit featuring 365 creative ideas for international volunteer activities, empowering everyone to make meaningful changes.
2026 PLANS
Taking advantage of the 2026 International Year of Volunteers, Good Deeds Day China aims to expand its reach and influence nationwide by strengthening engagement, visibility, and collaboration. This strategy focuses on developing and promoting a Chinese version of the Good Deeds Day Support Toolkit, along with tailored resources to support local organizations in their activities. At the same time, efforts will be made to steadily increase the number of participating organizations across the country, building a broader and more active network of volunteers. In parallel, an exchange platform will be established to encourage knowledge-sharing and cooperation between Chinese volunteer organizations and partners across Asia.
