This is part II of Good Deeds Day 2025. This year GDD brought together millions participants across 115 countries!
From individuals to families, schools, nonprofits, and businesses — millions joined forces to make a global impact through acts of kindness and community service.

Over 563,000 projects were carried out worldwide, spanning diverse areas such as environmental action, elderly care, health, animal welfare, education, youth support, and more. Among the many incredible and creative initiatives, three standout themes emerged: Education & Leadership, Caring for the Environment, and Health & Well-Being — showing the heart of this global movement in action.

1. Haiti

Good Deeds Day in Haiti 2025 was brought to life through a series of vibrant and engaging activities organized by our partner organization ACTIVEH-Action Toward Initiatives and Volunteering for Education in Haiti and Club Santé Mentale de Carrefour. The day was filled with joyful moments as children expressed their creativity through colorful drawings, raced against each other in exciting games, and unleashed their boundless energy and imagination. It was a celebration of youth, community, and the power of coming together to spread positivity and joy.

2.  Tanzania

Good Deeds Day Tanzania was a powerful showcase of community spirit and collective impact, bringing people together in a vibrant, high-energy charity event that truly made a difference. With over 200 participants coming together, the initiative reached 100 individuals, offering much-needed support through the donation of food, clothing, toys, and essential cleaning supplies. Volunteers also extended their efforts to fund the renovation of boreholes and electricity access, ensuring long-term benefits for the community.

The event was more than just a day of giving — it was a celebration of kindness that brought together children, parents, and volunteers, proving that the seeds of compassion are best sown early and grow stronger when nurtured collectively. By uniting to uplift those in need, Good Deeds Day Tanzania exemplified the power of small acts of generosity to spark meaningful change.

3. Honduras

Good Deeds Day Honduras was a vibrant celebration of community, creativity, and collective action, bringing color and life to CEBG John F. Kennedy in Surcos de Cana. With the theme “Designing Happiness and Smiles,” students and teachers joined forces to transform their surroundings into a space filled with positive energy and inspiration.

Old tires were repurposed into colorful garden planters, and palm trees and flowers were carefully planted to breathe new life into the area. Trees became canvases for uplifting messages, adorned with painted designs and words of encouragement. The event also included a “free drawing” session where children expressed their vision of a world shaped entirely by acts of kindness.

What made this initiative truly remarkable was the way these young changemakers embraced the power of small actions to create a ripple effect of positivity. It was more than just a day of doing good — it was a movement to inspire others to join in and continue spreading joy and compassion throughout their community.

Buenas Acciones Honduras

4. Palm Beach County, Florida

The Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center – PBC and PBA Workship joined forces to lead a powerful and impactful day of service across Palm Beach County, bringing together volunteers of all ages in a shared mission to uplift the community through purposeful acts of compassion. From tackling food insecurity to supporting education, environmental preservation, and community wellness, their collective efforts translated into tangible change that rippled throughout the county:

  • 53,700 meals distributed to local food pantries

  • 100+ hygiene kits assembled for those in need

  • 2,177 kg of produce gleaned to feed the community

  • 65 backpacks packed for Title I schools

  • 27 kg of beach waste removed to protect marine life

  • 100 lunches prepared for local families

  • Prom attire collected to support teens

  • Blood drives hosted, giving the gift of life

  • Outreach calls made to support the Jewish Federation’s annual campaign

  • Planting activities and Sundays Together, fostering community connectionThank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter for coming together to create lasting change.

5. Philippines

In celebration of the 8th annual Good Deeds Day, Hands On Manila transformed the conversation around fashion by focusing on sustainability, bringing together over 100 students from 10 public high schools for a day of impactful learning and action. Through a series of interactive and educational games, students delved into the often-overlooked environmental impact of the fashion industry — from the excessive water consumption and harmful chemicals involved in production to the advantages of opting for biodegradable fabrics.

The initiative not only fostered greater awareness about the hidden costs of fashion but also empowered young minds to become advocates for sustainable choices. By exploring how everyday clothing decisions can influence the planet, the event served as a powerful reminder that even small, conscious actions can contribute to a more sustainable future.

6. Slovenia

In Slovenia, Good Deeds Day was celebrated through a thoughtful and impactful initiative led by ADRA Slovenija in collaboration with the Adventisti Slovenija. Participants embarked on an excursion to Libar Mountain, where they not only engaged in a comprehensive garbage collection effort to restore the natural landscape but also took the time to acknowledge and connect with the caretakers and guardians of the area. By recognizing the often-overlooked work and kindness of those dedicated to preserving the region, the initiative fostered a deeper sense of community appreciation and environmental stewardship. The day was a meaningful blend of environmental action and human connection, reinforcing the essence of Good Deeds Day — giving back in ways that leave lasting, positive impacts.

ADRA Slovenija

7. Cozumel, Mexico

Cruz Roja Cozumel and Fundación Cozumel were pivotal in the 1st Good Deeds Fair, held in honor of Good Deeds Day Mexico, showcasing unwavering dedication, initiative, and compassion throughout Cozumel. For over a decade, the spirit of doing good together has brought communities closer, fostering volunteerism and solidarity worldwide. The participation of organizations like Cruz Roja Cozumel and Fundación Cozumel magnifies the impact of this global movement, proving that even small acts of kindness can spark enduring change.

A powerful reminder that when we unite in the spirit of giving, we create ripples of positivity that extend far beyond a single day.

8. Kerela, India

In celebration of Good Deeds Day, Captains Social Foundation joined forces with the Kerala Fisheries Department to lead a powerful Beach Cleanup Drive at Fort Kochi Beach, Ernakulam.

With over 120 dedicated volunteers, the initiative tackled marine pollution head-on, responsibly collecting and disposing of 580 kg of non-biodegradable waste. But the impact didn’t stop there — the cleanup was also an opportunity to educate the community about the urgent need for responsible waste management and protecting our marine ecosystems. By turning a simple act of service into a broader message of environmental responsibility, the event underscored the idea that every piece of litter removed is a step toward a cleaner, healthier coast.

Good Deeds Day in Kerala proved that when people come together, even a single day of action can spark lasting change.

9. North Macedonia 

In celebration of Good Deeds Day, students from the High Technical School in Gostivar joined forces with the Volunteer Organization of MKC Bitola in North Macedonia to breathe new life into public spaces.

In Gostivar, students, mentors, activists, and volunteers came together to restore and repair the children’s playground in the park, fixing damaged equipment and creating a safe, welcoming space for children and families.

Meanwhile, in Bitola, the MKC Bitola team organized impactful activities that emphasized the importance of maintaining shared community assets. Volunteers encouraged residents to preserve public spaces, fostering a spirit of collective responsibility and unity. Beyond physical repairs, the initiative was a powerful reminder of the value of community care and the lasting impact of small, purposeful actions. Participants urged locals to continue looking after public spaces, underscoring that the well-being of the community depends on each of us.

10. Zimbabwe

Good Deeds Day Zimbabwe and the Chiwundura Network made a profound impact through a series of transformative initiatives aimed at supporting youth and fostering community well-being. The network provided a three-month supply of sanitary wear to 100 young girls, ensuring that their basic needs are met with dignity and care. Meanwhile, 140 children received essential school stationery and nourishing meals, reinforcing the belief that every child deserves the tools to learn and thrive.

Beyond material support, the day was also dedicated to empowering youth through life skills workshops, covering crucial topics such as grooming, etiquette, drug abuse prevention, career guidance, relationship building, time management, and sexual reproductive health. By addressing both immediate needs and long-term growth, the Chiwundura Network not only extended a helping hand but also planted seeds of knowledge and confidence that will resonate far beyond Good Deeds Day.

11. Mongolia

Good Deeds Day in Mongolia with Монголын сайн дурынхны төв-Volunteer center of Mongolia was a huge success, thanks to the incredible efforts of the Mongolian Volunteer Center and all who joined in!
Over 1,500 children and youth came together to celebrate the International Day of Good Deeds through a variety of fun and meaningful experiences. From the Active House and Healthy Life House to Magic Brush, Emotion House, and more — each booth offered a unique way to inspire kindness, creativity, and community spirit.

12. Dominican Republic

In the vibrant community of La Malena, Higüey, Día de las Buenas Acciones RD brought together volunteers, local organizations, and community members for a day centered around compassion and connection. The Community Bazaar, organized by the Rotaract Club Higüey and Interact Club Higüey, was more than just an event — it was a demonstration of unity and support for those in need.

With the help of 22 dedicated volunteers, essential items were distributed to vulnerable families, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that emphasized the power of giving back. Participants didn’t just share resources; they shared smiles, kind words, and a sense of community that resonated far beyond the day’s activities.

Good Deeds Day in the Dominican Republic continues to be a powerful reminder that when people unite for a common cause, even small acts of kindness can make a lasting impact.

13. Venezuela

A remarkable initiative unfolded of Buenas Acciones Venezuela on Margarita Island, where over 70 children and elderly individuals in need received essential food packages, reinforcing the spirit of compassion and solidarity.

This impactful effort was made possible by the unwavering dedication of Eneida from Fundación Manos de Amor y Esperanza, marking her second consecutive year of participation. Through sustained commitment and heartfelt service, she continues to embody the mission of extending hope and support to the most vulnerable members of the community.

A testament to the power of consistent, meaningful action, this initiative not only provided nourishment but also fostered a sense of connection and care for those often overlooked.

Día de las Buenas Acciones - Venezuela

14. Operation Grow Inc. – Newark, NJ

he youth of Operation Grow Inc. turned compassion into action with a thoughtfully planned initiative to support the unhoused community at Newark Penn Station.

After carefully organizing and gathering essential supplies — including socks, wipes, toothpaste, foot warmers, body wash, Tums, and more — the team assembled care bags filled with items to provide warmth, hygiene, and comfort.

Armed with these care packages, the youth walked through Penn Station, connecting with individuals experiencing homelessness and extending a hand of support, one bag at a time. This powerful act of kindness not only provided tangible aid but also reminded those in need that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.

Operation Grow Inc. - Newark, NJ

15. Kenya

The concluding event of the Good Deeds Day Kenya 2025 four-part series, the Volunteer Involving Organizations Society unfolded as a powerful day of action, uniting volunteers for a transformative mangrove restoration project along the coast.

Led by grassroots organizations such as Kashika Youth Organization, Tenda, Kenya Red Cross Society, Pani Youth Network, and the Baptist Child Development Center, the initiative not only revitalized the coastal ecosystem but also fostered a deep sense of community and environmental stewardship.

Amidst the rhythmic waves and lush mangroves, volunteers worked hand in hand, planting new seedlings and restoring areas impacted by erosion — a vivid reminder that when people come together to heal the land, they also nurture a culture of care, responsibility, and collective action. Good Deeds Day Kenya 2025 ended not just with cleaner shores but with renewed connections and a shared commitment to protect the natural world for future generations
