Good Deeds Day empowers, inspires, and connects a global network of people and organizations dedicated to doing good.

Since 2007, millions of people and thousands of organizations from over 115 countries unite annually to volunteer and #DoGood.

Our mission is to empower you and your organizations to create positive change in your community. We do that by offering tools, inspiration, and a global network to make doing good easy, accessible, and exciting for all!

Moldova celebrated Good Deeds Day with 9,900 volunteers from 125 towns and 250 organizations. The festivities included a mega-event in Chisinau, where the city provided free public transportation passes to volunteers. There were 255 activities covering various areas such as the environment, children and families at risk, elderly support, animal care, urban infrastructure, healthy lifestyle, education, and cultural heritage preservation. Alvia, a local printing company, generously donated 800 shirts for the participants, featuring their logo alongside the Good Deeds Day design.

In Nepal, doing good is considered a duty and mission in life. Over the past 10 years, Good Deeds Day (GDD) in Nepal has seen remarkable growth, tripling the number of partners. Originally starting in Kathmandu, GDD is now active in five other major provinces. The initiative enjoys close cooperation with the government, featuring programs and sessions dedicated to GDD at national volunteer meetings, as well as introductory meetings for new organizations. In 2024, over 3,000 people participated in Good Deeds Day, showcasing the country’s commitment to making a positive impact.

Good Deeds Day in South Africa drew 1,500 participants to its Climate Change Edutainment event, which featured 12 soccer teams and 12 coaches. Held at Richards Bay’s National Stadium, the event integrated education, sports, and arts, utilizing three fields for soccer activities and cultural programs. Amidst the national elections, the event offered a refreshing break from politics, using sports as a unifying platform. Former youth members, now university students in Cape Town, Mpumalanga, and Free State, organized activities on their campuses, adding depth to the event.
